Ric is a seasoned professional with substantial breadth and depth of over 20 year hands-on experiences specializing in data networking and security. Ric joined Huawei as Director of Product Management with focus on Cloud Security. Before Huawei, Ric worked at Juniper Networks as lead engineer over eight years managing multiple beta programs for the security product line and later moved to a Senior Consultant role specializing on SDN and security. Ric started his career in networking as regional SE in APAC at Novell Hong Kong. In 1990, Ric moved to San Jose California and continued to work at Novell in technical services and later technical marketing role supporting the company’s security products. After working at Novell for 10 years, Ric joined Nortel Networks in year 2000 working on their carrier DSL/CMTS broadband edge router in technical marketing role. Ric holds a BS in computer science from Queensland University of Technology, MBA from University of Phoenix and MS Telecom from Golden Gate University. Ric also holds a CISSP designation since year 2002.
