Biografia
Maria is the leader of BIRD Internet Routing Daemon development team. Maria wrote BIRD's current filter interpreter and the multithreading subsystem, and she's now focusing on API and interoperability.
Maria has been using open-source last 20 years, her first serious Linux distribution being Debian 3.1 Sarge. She uses the Sway window manager, Mutt for e-mails, and Vim for work. Maria writes mostly C and Python (out of
tens of other programming languages) and has been contributing to open-source since 2014.
Maria loves public transportation and its history, and in her free time she travels over interesting places. She also plays chess, piano and some more, but she can't swim.
Maria lives nearby Prague, Czechia, and speaks Czech natively, English well, German somehow, and knows some basics of Italian and Spanish, while also understanding Slovak and partially Polish.
